Coffee and Craft - Eastwood
I will be having a stall at the Coffee and Craft venue at Eastwood Girls Centre (Dora Philips Hall) on Wood Street in Eastwood and starts at 10am until 2 pm on Saturday 16th April. If you can make it please come and visit me and see all my latest bears.
Special Bears
My latest bears I am keeping a secret as they are for very special girls who will soon be graduating from Staffordshire University and have been doing Surface Pattern Design for the last three years. I think they deserve a special bear friend who will share in their excitement at having finished all their hard work towards their degrees - well done girls.

Thursday's Teddy Class
The girls have all started new bears this week and have chosen lovely mohairs. Jean and Linda have started ones for new babies and Isobelle is making a lovely family of bears to add to her collection of Mum, Dad and baby as she is now making Grandad. Isabel is making a lovely gingery coloured bear - we all have a good laugh each week and put the world to rights whilst we are sewing.
Hedgehogs Galore
I have been busy making Hedgehog Keyrings for a Coffee and Craft Fair I will going to on Saturday 16th April 10am - 2pm in Eastwood just off Junction 26 on the M1, these little fellows have gone down really well in the past and are so easy to make - if anyone would like a kit to make one - I have some available with full instructions or of course you can buy one ready made :

Teddy Bear Workshop
I started a Teddy Bear Workshop about a year ago and have 5 friends who regularly attend each Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm. I have taught them all to make lovely teddies and I am very proud of my prodigies. If anyone is interested in learning to make teddies I would be willing to do a weekend workshop at a date to suit - I charge for the materials and little extra and you get to choose the colour you like from my stock of furs and I choose a simple pattern for you to follow and you will soon be on your way to making beautiful jointed bears. A bear takes about 8-10 hours to make so you would need to come along on both Saturday and Sunday. The workshops would be at my house and if you need Bed and Breakfast this can be arranged for a small fee. For more information contact me by email isobel@signet-solutions.com
